Been getting quite a no. of messages from strangers on Friendster...... some wanting to be frens, some wanting to chat with me....... some complimenting on my hair extension........there's one who even wanted to ask me out for drinks! hahahaa..... How lame! Well, I'm not interested anyway... There's nothing great abt Friendster I think...... It's like promoting yourself on the net and inducing pple to know you...... I thought isn't it supposed to be like a community whereby you can communicate wit frens and look for long-lost childhood/pri./sec. frens?!?!?..... Guess I'm just being simple-minded?!.. But no matter what, I am still on friendster.... This shows I am a lame person... hah!

Have been too lazy and busy to update my blog lately.... So many things to do at work plus school work is not helping much either...... That's why I am up so early today to finish my bloody assignment to be handed in later this evening..........
Anyhow, I brought another new brand of colour contact lenses yesterday........ Tried out Fresh Looks but the lenses were uncomfortable and my eyes were red and watery everytime I put them in........Thus went to get another new brand which was recommended by the salesperson........... Cost me $42 bucks man.......... But I finally realised it's so troublesome to wear a contact lens....... and I really felt lucky to have perfect eyesight! = )
I think I am getting tanner....... It's all thanks to the hot and sunny weather last Friday when I was down at Sentosa..........I didn't even put much sun-tanned lotion on my body but just afew mins of staying out in the sun, the effects were showing on my body......... Anyway, this will make my frens happy cos they have been teasing about my fairness previously........I have always been quite a fair person and I still prefer myself to look fair.......... Well, just give me a few months time and I think the tanned will fade to my original color... heh..
Money is getting low again this month.......... Maybe it's because I spent too much during my BKK trip........ Gotta bear for a few more days before it's pay day....... I need to change my hair color.......... Wanna get some outrageous colour this time........ But it's gonna cost me a bomb......*sigh*

Part III
6/10/03 (Monday) - Day 4
This is the day that we are all supposed to say goodbye to this amazing place!
9.30 am - All of us woke up at this time again and couldn't take our last breakfast at the hotel.
Our flight is at 2.40pm and the coach will be coming to pick us up at 11.30 am at the lobby. However, most of us still wanna check out some shops before we left and hence, all decided if we couldn't make it in time back to the hotel, then we gals will take a cab ourselves to the airport and will meet the guys there.
10.15 am - The guys went to Pattunam market while we gals just went to Siam Square and Siam Discovery Centre for our last shopping spree. Ate A&W breakfast at Siam Square. Finally got to eat my favourite waffle with scrambled eggs!
11.15 am - Called the guys to inform them we won't be able to make it back to take the transfer and surprisingly, they also informed us they can't make it too. Haha.. Who says guys are not a shopaholic! So we gals will meet them 12.30 pm at the hotel lobby to take our luggages.
12.30 pm - Back to hotel for the gather.
1.30 pm - Reached airport for check-in and have a light lunch at BK.
2.30 pm - Inside the departure area and all of us were rushing to board our flights.
2.40 pm - Goodbye to BKK
(Slept in the flight. Was so damn tired.)
6.00 pm - Home Sweet Home
End of my wonderful trip!

Part II of my BKK's trip
5/10/03 (Sunday) - Day 3
9.30 am - Damn! All of us woke up late and missed our breakfast! But think the guys managed to rush down to grab some food!(The complimentary breakfast ended at 9.30am!)
10.30 pm - Reach MBK. Wanted to have A&W's breakfast (missed the waffler with scramble eggs!) but couldn't find one at the mall, hence in the end, in order not to delay any more time, we had KFC instead.
11.15 pm - Finished breakfast and fag, we split into 2 gps again to conquer the 7 storeys mall.
2.00 pm- Decided nothing much at MBK for gals, just bought some local products back for colleagues plus cheap lingeries and toiletries and went over to Siam Square (By then, I kindda regretted to have bought the local products cos they were heavy and it's cumbersome to carry such a heavy load for shopping. Moreover, my hands were aching and my legs were asking for mercy from the walking)
6.00 pm - Can't take anymore of the walking and decided to go for my haircut at one of the salons. (Didn't go back to the one that I went to during my last trip becos it was a distance away from Siam Square and anyway, new ones might be better than old)
7.00 pm - Finally got my hair cut... It's was just a simple trim anyway... wanted to cut a slant fringe but think the guy couldn't understand what I was trying to tell him due to communication barrier (Guess he couldn't understand English much!)..... Luckily I didnt do any hair color there or I might turn out to be an alien! haha...
7.30 pm - Reached back hotel to put our heavy stuffs (The guys are grumbling and complaining about their hungriness and our shopping.. Men!! Can't stand them! They will never understand gals! Just like we gals can never figure out their thoughts =p)
8.00 pm - All of us took a cab to Chinatown to have our dinner again cos everyone of us missed the sumptuous seafood and cheap price!
9.30 pm - Finished our dinner and we decided to go to Kao Shang Road (place where backpackers like to stay and there are hair plaiting, extensions, pubs etc.)
10.00 pm - Arrived at destination. There was a flea market there and everyone of us were
looking around... Think the place is very fascinating and amazing cos u can see alot of foreigners (esp ang mohs and Japanese) hanging ard the area, there were buskers as well... lots of grungy, lay-back locals hanging there (Some maybe high on drugs!)....It's just a cool place to nua...especially for a lazy person like me!
10.45pm - Did my hair extensions
11.15pm - Found a massage parlour to enjoy our traditional Thai Massage! This is the first time that I'm trying it..... Was abit afraid, so only did for 1/2 hr but it was relazing in a way too and not to say, CHEAP!..... Paid 100 Baht for the 30 mins! 2 of my gal pals still went for the foot reflexalogy after that but I didn't dare to do it as I'm a person who is afraid of tickle and the thought of probably wrying in pain during the session, just put me off! So my guy buddy and me went to a nearby pub to chill out while waiting for them.
12.30 am - While at the pub, this swedish guy came over to ask for a lighter and he chatted us up. Think he was probably drunk anyway becos he started talking non-stop and asking us alot of questions on Singapore, telling us he is coming for a holiday here and blah blah... Said he has been working in BKK for 2 years .. blah blah blah.... He was just bull-shitting I think...
1.30 am - Left the pub and headed back to the hotel.
2.00 am - Started to pack our stuffs into our luggages and bags...... Pack, Unpack and then now need to pack again! I hate packing!
3.30 am - Sweet Dreams

I can't believed that my BKK's trip was over in a flash....... Last week during this time, I was still enjoying myself there..... And now I'm back in Sg......Anyway, I have been too lazy to update abt my trip.... Below will be just a brief outline of what I did....
3/10/2003 (Friday) - Day 1
8.30 pm - Meeting time with frens at T1
9.50pm - Took off time to BKK from Changi Airport
*The subsequent timing will be according to Bangkok's time (1 hr behind Sg)
11.05 pm - Reached Bangkok's Airport
12.00 am - Arrived at Hotel for check-in
12.30 am- Took a cab to Chinatown to have supper (The flight food sucks big time and most of us didn't ate much). Walked awhile at Chinatown, looking for a good stall to wack their seafood!..... Had barbecue pawns, Tom-Yum Soup, Crabmeat Fried Rice, Crabmeat Omelette and Fried Kang Kong, some beers and Juices..... After that, we still proceed to have Shark Fins and Bird Nest Soup! ( We eat till our stomach nearly burst! But all these delicacy were so CHEAP in BKK which we can't help but just eat! heh!)
2.30am - Reached back Hotel to rest for the big day tomorrow at Cha-Tu-Chak!
4/10/2003 (Saturday) - Day 2
9.15am - Had breakfast at the hotel
9.30am - Ready to go to Cha-tu-chak
(Took the MRT and it cost 30 Baht to reach our destination (Mo Chit Station)
10.00 am - Reached Cha-Tu-Chak Market
We started walking from 10.00 am till 6.00pm, splitting into 2 groups - each gp cosists of 3 gals and 3 guys....So many things to see and buy - clothes, shoes, accessories, sovenours, home decor etc... and everything over there was so CHEAP!!.... But still, bargaining was still inevitable becos it's so common to haggle there....Couldn't help feeling sweaty and hot from the walking, body was covered with dirt becos of the weather and human jam.....Mouth was dry and we kept buying water to quench our thirst...
6.00pm - Took a train back to our hotel again to drop our stuffs and had a hot bath before we proceed to Siam Square to have dinner.
(Before we wanted to leave Cha-Tu-Chak, it started to pour heavily and we tot we r gonna stuck there but the bizzare thing was that it stopped after 5 mins.)
7.15pm - Started our next destination to Siam Square for dinner (Everyone was grumbling about being hungry from the day's walking and couldn't wait to eat)
7.30pm - After looking for a good place to eat for a few mins, everyone couldn't take it anymore and just went to Chester's Fast Food Restaurant to have dinner.....Btw, Chester is something like Corona Chicken in Sg - it's Fast Food Chicken Rice!)......
8.30pm - Finally filled up our stomach and energy, we walked ard Siam Square for awhile...
(Saw a fight there - a group of youngsters were beating up a Thai gal and the poor gal was lying on the floor covered with blood on her face... How scary!)
9.30pm - Left Siam Swuare and took a cab - all 6 of us squeezed into the cab, to Pa-Pong
(nothing much at Pa-Pong...... But lots of clubs with Thai gals wearing luminous bikinis, dancing at the pole, and attracting men to go into the club.....Anyway, the place is famous for that anyway... We were all feeling bored with the place and then we decided to check out another local night market, recommended by one of my frens and so off we went. Took a Tu-Tu there for 150 baht, with 6 of us squeezing into it again! Had nvr took a Tu-Tu before though I hv been to BKK twice and so it was an experience for me!)
11.00 pm - Reached the night market and it's walking time again! Though this market wasn't as big as Cha-Tu-Chak, but all of us were badly drained out from our earlier walked and hence most of our legs have started to ache and feeling the strain...
12.30am - Took a cab back to our hotel to rest cos none of us had any more energy left to go clubbing which we initially wanted to do...Hence we decided to grab some drinks, chips and ice-cream to just start our mini party at our hotel rooms...
1.30 am - Went over to the guys' room after taking my bath to talk, joke and drink.
3.00 am - Back to gals' room for the night...

It's PAY DAY today!! Wooo hooo....... This is the happiest time of the month after working hard for 5 days a week, 8 hrs a day and sometimes even more...
I received my new driving license last Sat...... It was personally hand-delivered by Mr. Postman to me........... Didn't know it's going to be a registered mail....... Anyway, my new license is so sparking new and shiny with a coloured pic of myself on it....... Different from the old torned, crampled, luminated card...... Now I don't have to bring my IC out anymore... The license can serve a new identity card for me.
Counting down to my BKK trip : 2 days
