I can't believed that my BKK's trip was over in a flash....... Last week during this time, I was still enjoying myself there..... And now I'm back in Sg......Anyway, I have been too lazy to update abt my trip.... Below will be just a brief outline of what I did....
3/10/2003 (Friday) - Day 1
8.30 pm - Meeting time with frens at T1
9.50pm - Took off time to BKK from Changi Airport
*The subsequent timing will be according to Bangkok's time (1 hr behind Sg)
11.05 pm - Reached Bangkok's Airport
12.00 am - Arrived at Hotel for check-in
12.30 am- Took a cab to Chinatown to have supper (The flight food sucks big time and most of us didn't ate much). Walked awhile at Chinatown, looking for a good stall to wack their seafood!..... Had barbecue pawns, Tom-Yum Soup, Crabmeat Fried Rice, Crabmeat Omelette and Fried Kang Kong, some beers and Juices..... After that, we still proceed to have Shark Fins and Bird Nest Soup! ( We eat till our stomach nearly burst! But all these delicacy were so CHEAP in BKK which we can't help but just eat! heh!)
2.30am - Reached back Hotel to rest for the big day tomorrow at Cha-Tu-Chak!
4/10/2003 (Saturday) - Day 2
9.15am - Had breakfast at the hotel
9.30am - Ready to go to Cha-tu-chak
(Took the MRT and it cost 30 Baht to reach our destination (Mo Chit Station)
10.00 am - Reached Cha-Tu-Chak Market
We started walking from 10.00 am till 6.00pm, splitting into 2 groups - each gp cosists of 3 gals and 3 guys....So many things to see and buy - clothes, shoes, accessories, sovenours, home decor etc... and everything over there was so CHEAP!!.... But still, bargaining was still inevitable becos it's so common to haggle there....Couldn't help feeling sweaty and hot from the walking, body was covered with dirt becos of the weather and human jam.....Mouth was dry and we kept buying water to quench our thirst...
6.00pm - Took a train back to our hotel again to drop our stuffs and had a hot bath before we proceed to Siam Square to have dinner.
(Before we wanted to leave Cha-Tu-Chak, it started to pour heavily and we tot we r gonna stuck there but the bizzare thing was that it stopped after 5 mins.)
7.15pm - Started our next destination to Siam Square for dinner (Everyone was grumbling about being hungry from the day's walking and couldn't wait to eat)
7.30pm - After looking for a good place to eat for a few mins, everyone couldn't take it anymore and just went to Chester's Fast Food Restaurant to have dinner.....Btw, Chester is something like Corona Chicken in Sg - it's Fast Food Chicken Rice!)......
8.30pm - Finally filled up our stomach and energy, we walked ard Siam Square for awhile...
(Saw a fight there - a group of youngsters were beating up a Thai gal and the poor gal was lying on the floor covered with blood on her face... How scary!)
9.30pm - Left Siam Swuare and took a cab - all 6 of us squeezed into the cab, to Pa-Pong
(nothing much at Pa-Pong...... But lots of clubs with Thai gals wearing luminous bikinis, dancing at the pole, and attracting men to go into the club.....Anyway, the place is famous for that anyway... We were all feeling bored with the place and then we decided to check out another local night market, recommended by one of my frens and so off we went. Took a Tu-Tu there for 150 baht, with 6 of us squeezing into it again! Had nvr took a Tu-Tu before though I hv been to BKK twice and so it was an experience for me!)
11.00 pm - Reached the night market and it's walking time again! Though this market wasn't as big as Cha-Tu-Chak, but all of us were badly drained out from our earlier walked and hence most of our legs have started to ache and feeling the strain...
12.30am - Took a cab back to our hotel to rest cos none of us had any more energy left to go clubbing which we initially wanted to do...Hence we decided to grab some drinks, chips and ice-cream to just start our mini party at our hotel rooms...
1.30 am - Went over to the guys' room after taking my bath to talk, joke and drink.
3.00 am - Back to gals' room for the night...
